Here’s a great email that we received recently. Exactly what we like to hear:

“Thank You. You and a few other outdoorsmen have inspired me to be one with nature and develop a passion for hunting. This was my first season…ever. I’m 35. No hunting or even experience with guns previously. Got my guns a few months ago and my first deer on public land four days ago. It was a 2×2 mule deer, and I hunted it with my dad. License and tag through California Department of Fish and Game. Unbelievable experience, kept thinking to those moments when you harvest and start gutting. I have my own moment now. Already got my second deer tag! Thnx again. Already sharing the passion with my boy.”

You are right Steven, this is a great email!!! It is great to hear of someone that has recently experienced the discovery of hunting and is going to pass their new found passion along to others(especially the younger generations).

very cool! I myself am 32 and only started hunting about 5 years ago. Growing up around my grandfather i was always exposed to it and was around it, but by the time i started highschool, we’d moved and I didn’t have much opportunity to get into without his help. I have been fisherman since the age of 5, and thankfully decided to balance out my sportsman activites by getting into archery and rifle deer hunting. this year i plan on going after some pheasant as well. cannot wait to show my daughter the ropes too!
