Outstanding show as always!! Can’t wait to see how the New Zealand series ends up. My wife and I watched last night and both commented to one another that once you watch “Meat Eater” the other hunting shows just don’t compare. Job well done!! A quick question – Can I purchase entire seasons on DVD? If so, where does one do this? Thanks!!
Hi dixiedog80, please see comment below!
Whoa. That river looked to be just too risky!!! Did you ever have the thought of doing a crossing over the glacier itself?
I agree with dixiedawg80 you put on the best hunting show period dot and i look forward to each Sunday! I would also like to know if your show is available on DVD and where i could purchase it.
Hi dixiedawg80 and rsgruner, you can purchase MeatEater Season 1 here: https://www.proguidedirect.com/meateater-season-1-dvd-vol-1-2.html

Hey Steven. Really enjoyed this New Zealand 4-show episode, and the entire Meat Eater show in general.
I have a question about something I noticed in the NZ episodes… Why is the elevation turret of your optic completely duct taped over? I noticed it while you were shooting the goose, chamois, and finally the tahr. Also, why no wading boots?!? Man, those rocks looked sharp and I’m about 95% sure you’re just wearing stocking foot waders without boots!
Thanks, and love the show!
I tape the turrets so they don’t roll when hiking in rugged terrain. I leave a tab of folded-over tape exposed, and it’s a snap to peel it back for adjustments. I zero at 200 and can hold point of aim out to 300, so often I don’t even monkey with the adjustable turrets. As for wading boots, we just didn’t have any with us. Yes, rocks hurt. But so does carrying wading boots for days on end when you probably won’t even need them.
love the show ! I was just wondering what brand/pattern that camo getup is you guys got going there. looks good and would be interested in getting some. thanks for putting something worth watching on tv… don’t get much these days !!
Hi Lineman125,
The pattern is the Vias camo from KUIU: http://shop.kuiu.com/storefront.aspx. Thanks for enjoying the show!

Awesome Hunting show? What did they use to make the sauce for the tahr at the end of the episode?
I can’t remember. It was some New Zealand brand of barbecue sauce. Nothing special.
