Over the past few years, I’ve struggled to put all my thoughts about the hunting lifestyle into a narrative that’s driven by adventure, a love of wilderness, a lifelong passion for eating wild game, and a respect for the animals that sustain us. I’m proud to put the result of that labor, Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter, into your hands. It is uncensored, and presents the rawness and beauty of hunting with absolute clarity. Inside, you will encounter hunting and fishing stories and philosophical insights that are surprising, challenging, funny, inspiring, and sometimes startling. It is my hope that you enjoy it, and that it makes you thankful – all over again – for the bounties of the American wild.
Sincerely,
Steven Rinella
I can’t wait to read it Steven. I really enjoyed your first two books and love the show. Keep up the good work.
Spiffy video…look forward to reading the book. I laughed loud enough to scare the kids when you said, “It’s about getting your ass kicked” in the video. That was a rough patch. I wouldn’t laugh if it hadn’t ended well though.
The time lapsed sky footage is my favorite nature footage of all time.
Congrats!
Looking forward to it… it’s been pre-ordered for a while now!
Keep steady rockin’!
Just got mine in the mail today gonna start reading it tonight.
already 50 pages in! So far so good! As always, Steve is delivering!
Picked up my copy this week!
Thank you Steven for all that you do. You are an inspiration.
I received your book for Xmas and greatly enjoyed it. I identify with the magnetic pull of the hunt and the out of doors, only I am jumping in at the tender age of 40. While there are countless videos on how to skin something on youtube, mechanics do not help me figure out how I feel about it all. So I appreciate getting to eavesdrop on your life journey. On the human part of hunting.
