Before joining MeatEater in 2012, Putelis spent over a decade guiding hunting and fishing trips in Colorado, Arizona, and Mexico and three years in a professional kitchen.

Steven Rinella is an outdoorsman, writer, and wild foods enthusiast who is a passionate advocate for conservation and the protection of public lands. Rinella is the host of the MeatEater podcast and The History Channel’s Hunting History with Steven Rinella. His most recent books are the New York Times bestseller The MeatEater Outdoor Cookbook and the forthcoming audiobook original, MeatEater’s American History: The Mountain Men. Rinella lives in Bozeman, Montana, with his wife and their three kids.
