We participate in affiliate marketing programs where MeatEater may earn a commission when you purchase items through our links. All of the gear that we review and include in our content has been vetted by our crew and we stand behind all of our gear recommendations.

Brands occasionally send us free gear to test out and review. Our decision to include these products in our content rests amongst our crew and editorial staff. We will not include products that don’t hold up to our standards.

Our audience’s trust is paramount. We will not include products in our reviews simply to make money. If we include a piece of gear in a “best of” article, it has earned that position based on our testing and feedback from our crew.
